Meetup #4 – Climate Resilience in Action: Preparedness & Planning

Monthly Post NEB Screening: Action Meeting 3

Join us in person for the 4th Climate Resilience in Action Meeting for people who have seen the NEB film – and for those who have not but also feel like taking action! It’s the perfect chance to connect, discuss, and take action together. See you there!

What to expect?

We will start off at 7pm with sharing some vegan and vegetarian food which will be provided. There will be hot and cold drinks available throughout.

From 7.30pm – Update on NEB Screenings, support needed and progress with public broadcast request.

7.45pm – This month’s theme with a prepared introduction to this month’s topic:

Understanding existing emergency planning – what is already in place, who does what, and where?

8PM – Break!

8.10pm – Open table discussions in smaller groups of people with common interests. Work together and discuss the impact of the information provided. Anything missing? Who else needs to know this information and what do communities need to add, are adding or should lead on? This is a chance to find new collaborators, supporters and ideas! – People are free to move around different tables. Notes & outcomes shared.

8.45pm Discussion outcomes, next meeting & close!

Please note: We have chosen a central venue with good public transport connections, so most people within Bristol have a reasonable chance to attend the meeting. – However, we are aware that The Space does not have fully accessible toilets yet. – Accessibility of future meetings more generally and the potential for online and hybrid meetings will be addressed.

Please get in touch with Iris if you need a lift to and from the venue.
