Climate resilience in Bristol and surrounding areas is all about figuring out ways of how to adapt and ensure our neighbourhoods are great places to live and that they function in a way that supports all the people who live there – even when weather patterns change enough to have an impact on our lives.

Bristol Solar Challenge

In order to bring lower energy bills less reliance on fossil fuels to our neighbourhoods, ResNet is also developing a community owned, domestic solar scheme, with the aim to have 20,000 homes fitted with solar PV – and a fund being established which will allow the most vulnerable of our neighbourhoods to have access to additional funding every year.

Members of ResNet

ResNet supports community organisations based in BS postcode areas to take into account climate resilience when making investments into their buildings, taking climate action and planning new community services. This will allow our members organisations to create Resilience Hubs, able to continue to serve their communities even when climate change brings new challenges.
